Hello, I'm Rita Uduma. I bring over 20 years of dedicated nursing experience, passionately caring for patients in various settings including rehab hospitals, psychiatric clinics, and skilled nursing facilities.
I'm a Charge Nurse at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehab Center in Tyler, TX. Here, I oversee medication administration, patient continued assessment and monitoring, and ensure that controlled medicines are used safely. My work also focuses on caring for those with Alzheimer's, dementia, and behavioral challenges.
Earlier in my career, my role at UT Health East Texas involved managing patient care after surgeries, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare teams to adjust treatment plans.
In addition to my hands-on experience, I've trained extensively in patient assessment, psychotherapy, and medication management through various clinical practicums. I've worked with patients from all walks of life, helping them to achieve better health outcomes through compassionate care.
I hold an Associate Degree in Nursing from Tyler Junior College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
I am committed to providing exceptional care and ensuring that each patient feels heard, respected, and well-cared for. Thank you for considering me for your healthcare needs.
