I’m a psychodynamic, body-oriented therapist bringing warmth, humor and a nurturing presence to the therapeutic relationship. I have training in internal family systems and somatic therapy, plus 12 years of previous healing arts experience having helped clients increase awareness of their mind-body connection. My experience, wisdom and training create a solid foundation for you to develop trust and connection with your own inner knowing, allowing you to heal emotional blocks and unhealthy patterns that no longer serve. This creates healthier relationships, greater resiliency, and a deeper sense of purpose and vitality.

I specialize in working with individuals who have experienced trauma, eating disorders, and anxiety. I am an Associate-level therapist with experience working with clients in recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders in outpatient settings as well as in treatment at higher levels of care. I understand the unique pressures working in the arts and entertainment industry, and offer care to those who struggle to balance external image with internal thoughts. I utilize a non-judgemental, casual, creative style to therapy, informed by various modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Radically-Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Polyvagal Therapy. I work collaboratively with clients to determine when finding your narrative can help you identify how you see yourself in your worldview, or when a “bottom up” or skills-based approach may be more supportive. My goal is to empower you with the right tools and information that will help you build skills needed to get the most out of life.
