Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Online & In-Person
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I received my BSW in 2014 from Kutztown University and then my MSW in 2019 from Widener University. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I have experience working with clients who have depression, mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, trauma and grief/loss, auditory and visual hallucinations, self harm and suicidal ideation. I have worked with various mental health conditions and populations and enjoy working with children, teens and adults. I hope to foster an environment where you can feel safe and open to express your thoughts, feelings and experiences, and work on learning new and healthier ways to express and cope with your emotions and stressors. I believe in starting where you (the client) are and that it is important that we work together as a team while working on the goals that you feel are the most important for you to work on. The modalities I use most often are CBT, DBT and mindfulness approaches and I advocate for self care and learning new and healthier coping skills. I often promote self care practices, as I believe self care is vital for us all. It is often very easy to overlook self care. When we do not take care of ourselves, this can lead to feelings of burn out, anxiety and depression. I also like to teach clients about mindfulness, meditation, breath work, relaxation and coping strategies.I believe whole heartedly that compassion and empathy are vital not only in therapy but essential to being human. I believe that everyone deserves compassion, kindness and forgiveness and I believe it is not only important to give these to others but also to ourselves. I invite you to spend some time today engaging in much needed self care.
