My goal is to listen, understand, and collaborate with you to address your concerns and help you achieve your personal goals. Each of us has our own story and sources of pain, and together, we can explore the root causes of your challenges with care and curiosity. I aim to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where you can feel safe, understood, and empowered to work toward deeper understanding and lasting change. I help clients explore what it means to live in deeper alignment with their sense of self, desires, values, and capacity for pleasure. My work is rooted in the belief that feeling fully alive includes reconnecting with the parts of ourselves that may have been shaped, limited, or silenced by expectations of who we “should” be. Together, we explore sexuality, pleasure, identity, relationships, and self-expression as meaningful parts of the healing process. When we talk about sex, we often open the door to many other areas of life — intimacy, boundaries, confidence, vulnerability, joy, and personal freedom. I am a telehealth provider for clients in New Jersey and Massachusetts. I specialize in using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients overcome anxiety and depression and start feeling better. I understand that this process can feel overwhelming, so my style is warm and supportive. I encourage clients to guide the pace and direction of our sessions while I provide support, insight, and strategies to help them move forward. I also use humor when appropriate so the process does not always feel too serious or heavy. When necessary, I am direct and honest in a supportive way to help clients recognize what they may need to do differently in order to see different results.

I have had the privilege of working in education and counseling psychology for over 20 years in a variety of roles, including practitioner, supervisor, director, and co-chair of a non-profit Perinatal Mental Health Coalition. I continue to practice and to fuel my passion by supporting adults in need of individual therapy to help cope with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, and trauma. I also have extensive training and experience supporting couples to improve intimacy, communication and connection. In addition to this, I have a specialization in supporting women dealing with postpartum depression/anxiety, infertility, perinatal loss, and traumatic pregnancy/birth as well as supporting overall maternal wellness and women's health. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Mindfulness with a person-centered, strengths based approach to support individualized goals.

I have been a relational therapist for many years. We all face challenges and joys and I am no stranger to either. My road to therapy began about 15 years ago after experiencing my own trauma and grief. I was left feeling stuck on repeat and I needed to take back my power. Finding my way to the other side, my best side, was to learn and develop the tools to support others. I lean into supporting mothers and caregivers as it isn't always easy or predictable. My special education background lends me to advocate for children and families in the home and in the community. I love to support and make a plan for blended families. And my desire is to help couples and intimate partners find fulfillment and connection.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 8 years in community behavioral health settings helping teens and adults with co-occurring disorders.
