I have been a relational therapist for many years. We all face challenges and joys and I am no stranger to either. My road to therapy began about 15 years ago after experiencing my own trauma and grief. I was left feeling stuck on repeat and I needed to take back my power. Finding my way to the other side, my best side, was to learn and develop the tools to support others. I lean into supporting mothers and caregivers as it isn't always easy or predictable. My special education background lends me to advocate for children and families in the home and in the community. I love to support and make a plan for blended families. And my desire is to help couples and intimate partners find fulfillment and connection.

How does family therapy work and how can it help?
Family therapy provides a supportive space for family members to better understand one another, improve communication, and work through patterns that may be causing stress or disconnection. I help families identify what is working, where things feel stuck, and what each person may need in order to feel heard and supported.
My approach is relational and practical. Together, we look at family roles, communication styles, conflict patterns, parenting challenges, blended family dynamics, and life transitions. Family therapy can help reduce tension, strengthen trust, create healthier boundaries, and build a more connected home environment. The goal is not to place blame, but to help the family move forward with more clarity, compassion, and teamwork.
How do you work with clients with women's issues?
I work with women by creating a safe, compassionate space where they can feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Many women carry a great deal—caregiving, motherhood, relationships, identity changes, grief, trauma, stress, and the pressure to keep everything together. I help clients slow down, understand what they are experiencing, and reconnect with their own needs, voice, and strength.
Because my own path into therapy was shaped by trauma, grief, and healing, I understand how powerful it can be to move from feeling stuck to feeling more grounded and empowered. I especially enjoy supporting mothers and caregivers as they navigate the unpredictable demands of family life. Together, we work on coping tools, boundaries, self-worth, communication, and creating a plan that supports both healing and growth.
