Meet Dr. Aaron Tabor
I was raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. I then graduated from the University of Oklahoma with both a medical degree and a master’s degree, furthering my commitment to excellence in medicine and mental health care.
I’m a big fan of Oklahoma Sooners football and love watching games with my family. I live in Ardmore, Oklahoma, with my wife and children, where we enjoy spending time together.
A bit about my approach to therapy
My treatment philosophy starts with carefully listening to my patients. I believe in using a balanced approach that combines therapy and medication management. This allows me to address not only the symptoms but also uncover and work through the underlying psychological issues that may be affecting recovery. My ultimate goal is to help my patients achieve long-term mental health and well-being by addressing the root causes of their challenges.
What you can expect from our first session
During our first session, you can expect to feel truly heard and understood. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive space where you’ll feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and concerns. I’ll also provide clear and thoughtful answers to your questions, helping you gain a deeper understanding of your mental health and the steps toward recovery. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling empowered and confident in the plan we’ve developed together.
