About Abimbola Abiodun
I am a physician assistant with a background in endocrinology and psychiatry, specializing in the intersection of mental health and metabolic health. My clinical focus is on understanding how hormones, sleep, and metabolic imbalances contribute to conditions like depression, anxiety, fatigue, and brain fog. At MetaBridge Health & Wellness in Atlanta, I provide integrative and metabolic psychiatric care with an emphasis on hormone optimization, circadian health for shift workers, and personalized treatment plans guided by advanced lab testing. My approach is evidence-based and patient-centered, designed for individuals who are functioning but still struggling with energy, mood, or focus. I believe in going beyond symptom management to address the root causes of health challenges, creating lasting solutions that support both mind and body.
How do you work with clients with depression?
When someone comes to me with depression, I don’t just look at the symptoms and reach for a prescription. I try to understand what might be underneath it—things like sleep patterns, hormones, metabolism, nutrition, and stress. Medication can play a role, but it’s not the whole answer. My job is to connect those dots, support your health from the medical side, and work alongside therapy so you feel better in a lasting way.
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
Anxiety is more than just worry, it’s the body stuck in a constant state of alert, with racing thoughts, restlessness, or even physical symptoms like a pounding heart, stomach issues, or poor sleep. These are signals pointing to a larger issue. I look deeper at thyroid health, hormones, blood sugar, vitamin levels, sleep, and stress patterns that often get overlooked. By uncovering and addressing those drivers, I help create a plan that combines medical support, lifestyle changes, and therapy so your body and mind can finally settle into balance.
How do you work with clients with weight loss issues?
Weight is rarely just about willpower. It’s a reflection of hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, and overall health. I help patients uncover and treat those underlying factors so that weight loss becomes possible, sustainable, and healthier long-term.
