Hello, I am a licensed therapist in the state of Illinois with over 12 years of clinical experience. I have expertise in working with addictions and the families impacted by it. I spent 5 years of my career as a clinical coordinator for an addiction PHP/IOP and have brought my dynamic skill set to the individual therapy setting. I also have extensive experience treating trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and ADHD.
My approach is calm and laid back as I strive to create a safe and comfortable environment. I recognize that beginning therapy can be daunting and easy to talk yourself out of. I believe that my experience and approach will help to put you at ease and as well as to clarify what your objectives are. I will be honest with you if I can help you and I will lay out the exact framework that you can expect in order to get there. I look forward to meeting you and learning more about how I can help you!

How do you work with clients with addiction?
I utilize motivation interviewing with evidence based psycho education in order to partner with a client and meet them where they are at. In session, we will explore and clarify ambivalence and identify goals that you feel good about working towards. I bring 12+ year of clinical experience with a focus on addictions treatment to the table. I also provide much needed therapeutic services for family members affected by addiction. If you need space to process your emotions and explore if new boundaries need to be established, I can partner with you.
