Hi! I’m Alyssa. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and Michigan. I graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Psychology as well as Southeastern University with a Masters in Social Work. I specialize in working with young adults who experience anxiety and depression, as well as helping them to navigate through life transitions. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and truly believe that therapy is most effective when your unique needs, strengths and interests are put first. I strive to make my approach relaxed, comforting, friendly, and most importantly nonjudgmental. In our work together, we will collaborate and come up with the most useful and effective tools that will help you feel better equipped to handle all of life’s challenges. We will work as a team and I will be there for you every step of the way, supporting you as you achieve your goals. The hardest part is reaching out and asking for help, but I am here.
