About Anabel
I work with adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready for something to change but may feel stuck in patterns of people-pleasing, overthinking, difficulty setting boundaries, or struggling to say what they really mean. Maybe you’re constantly considering everyone else’s feelings before your own, questioning whether you’re asking for too much, or realizing that the way you’ve been doing things just isn’t working anymore.
Our sessions are conversational, honest, and collaborative. We’ll slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and work on the things that matter in your day-to-day life not just talk about them. Sometimes that means processing and reflecting; sometimes it means getting practical and figuring out what you’re going to say, what boundary you need, or what step comes next.
You don’t need to come to therapy with everything figured out. You just need to be willing to get curious about yourself. From there, we’ll work together.

What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?
I don’t believe the goal is to never feel anxious. Anxiety is part of being human; the goal is to understand it, respond to it differently, and stop letting it make all of your decisions for you.
In therapy, we’ll look at the thoughts, habits, and situations that keep anxiety going while building tools to help you feel more grounded and capable in your everyday life. Progress might look like saying what you mean instead of replaying the conversation afterward, setting a boundary without immediately feeling guilty, making a decision without needing everyone’s approval, or trusting yourself a little more.
For me, progress isn’t perfection. It’s having more room to choose how you respond instead of feeling like anxiety is choosing for you.
About Me
For people hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them, and what advice would you give?
If you’ve been thinking about therapy but keep finding reasons to put it off, I get it. You don’t have to be in crisis, know exactly what’s wrong, or have some perfectly organized list of things to talk about. You can simply know that something doesn’t feel right and want to understand yourself better.
And therapy isn’t about sitting across from someone who has all the answers. You get to decide what you’re ready to talk about, and we figure the rest out together. My advice? Don’t wait until things feel unbearable. Give yourself permission to be curious about what could change. One conversation is a great place to start :)
About Me
How do you provide care remotely, and what makes it effective?
I provide therapy entirely through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth, so you can have sessions from a space where you feel comfortable and at ease. For many clients, being able to talk from home makes therapy feel more natural and easier to fit into real life.
What makes virtual therapy effective, in my experience, is the relationship—not the room we’re sitting in. I prioritize being present, engaged, and genuinely connected with you while keeping sessions conversational, intentional, and focused on what you need.
