Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I enjoy helping people make positive changes in their lives and gain self-acceptance.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Give therapy a chance and do not give up if the first person is not a good fit. Sometimes it can take time to find the right connection.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I believe in a respectful, direct, and collaborative relationship that aims to help my clients function at their highest level and potential.
How do you work with clients with addiction?
We start where you are and work from there. I believe in harm reduction as an avenue for recovery. There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
What's your experience with clients with ADHD?
I use an evidence-based approach to develop and strengthen practical skills to help manage ADHD.
How can you provide care remotely?
I have been regularly providing Telehealth since 2017 and have found it is a useful and effective option for many individuals.
