I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I completed my degrees in Social Work through the University of South Carolina (MSW) and James Madison University (BSW).
I aspire to help clients overcome challenges, build skills, and find purpose. I believe therapeutic techniques like logo therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solutions focused therapy can help clients to reach their goals. I have experience working with a variety of issues, including trauma, relationship building, and mood issues including depression and anxiety.

What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
Typically I begin sessions with a check-in about the past week and explore anything that the client feels they want to talk about that day. After the check-in, we will dive into any on-going issues and work together to build skills or find ways to support clients in handling challenges. Feedback and questions are welcomed during sessions! I believe that in empowering clients by identifying strengths and building skills.
