I'm Tony originally from NY.
I maintain a balance between spirituality and mind. Too many times I have witnessed the harm of those that take extreme approaches. I strive to be “real” with the client and meet them where they are. I use plain language and simple examples. I encourage the client to be themselves and not put a “front.” With that said, I do not wear literal or figurative suits into sessions.
I use an array of counseling methodologies. I have received training in various secular and Christian venues.
I have completed training in eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) through the EMDR International Association (this service is available online)

What is your experience with clients with spiritual or religious issues?
So I do a lot of Christian counseling. I'm able to see ministry leaders, pastors, and just regular Christians. I also see people who used to be Christians.
I do have a lot experience, I've worked for church or Christian University, done mentoring programs, leadership programs, multicultural leadership programs. So I look forward to helping you out with any spiritual, [or] religious issues that you might be going through. Thank you.

What is your experience with clients with men's issues?
So I do work with a lot of males on pornography, [and] less related issues on how to be a better boyfriend, husband or family member.
So those are some of the male issues that I do work around. Also a lot of communication issues, [that] seems to be a big one.
About Me
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
Throughout college I worked with mental health clients in supported housing. Before becoming a Psychotherapist, I was a university administrator who led a multicultural leadership program. It was there that God showed me the ability and desire to lead young men. In the past, I have served both as a youth and college minister. For a period, I also served with the Department of Homeland Security as an US Citizenship and Immigration Services Asylum Officer.
