About Ashna
I am accepting new clients, specializing in women and young adults. As young adults, you have it harder than ever: you’re dealing with a high cost of living, having to live with your parents longer than you’d prefer, poor job prospects, uncertainty about your career, struggling to make and maintain friendships, increasing student debt, as well as the exposure to social media and the high expectations you develop of yourself as a result. Then you have the pandemic that affected so many of you during high school and/or college, causing you to miss the big events that many were looking forward to.
I have worked with many young adults over the years and have seen first hand the stress and anxiety that all of this causes your generation. Allow me to help you navigate through these uncertain times and provide you with the tools to help you forge a path forward. Change isn’t easy, and it can be scary, but it is necessary in order to move forward.
Together we can work to identify and overcome the obstacles in your life that are preventing you from reaching your potential and realizing your goals. I can help you gain insight and develop healthy coping skills so that you may experience personal growth. Contact me today for a free 15 minute consultation to see if we would be a good fit to work together.

About Me
What inspired you to become a therapist, and what keeps you motivated?
I became a therapist because I’ve always been drawn to understanding people—their experiences, relationships, challenges, and the ways they make sense of the world around them. I wanted to create the kind of space where people can feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted while working through the things that may be holding them back. What continues to motivate me is seeing clients gain insight, build confidence, and begin to approach themselves and their lives with greater self-compassion. Being able to support someone through that process and witness their growth is incredibly meaningful to me.
Specialties · Anxiety
What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach to anxiety, helping clients better understand the thoughts, emotions, and patterns that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we work on practical tools to manage anxious thoughts, build confidence, tolerate uncertainty, and respond to stress in healthier ways. Progress doesn’t necessarily mean never feeling anxious—it means feeling more capable of navigating anxiety without letting it control your choices, relationships, or daily life. Over time, clients may notice they are feeling more grounded, avoiding less, and trusting themselves more.
About Me
For people hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them, and what advice would you give?
If you’re hesitant about therapy, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. You also don’t need to be in crisis or know exactly what to talk about. Therapy is a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and have someone in your corner without judgment. My advice is to give yourself permission to be curious about the process and find a therapist you feel comfortable with. You don’t have to commit to changing everything at once; sometimes the first step is simply having a conversation and seeing how it feels.
About Me
What do sessions with you look like, and what can a new client expect?
Sessions with me are collaborative, conversational, and tailored to you. I want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel understood, and work at a pace that feels comfortable. We’ll spend time understanding what brings you to therapy, identifying patterns that may be getting in the way, and developing practical tools that fit your life and goals. You can expect a judgment-free environment, thoughtful questions, and support balanced with gentle challenge when it can help you grow. My goal is for you to leave sessions feeling heard, understood, and with greater clarity about your next steps.
Specialties · ADHD
What's your approach to ADHD, and what does progress look like for clients?
I take a supportive, nonjudgmental approach to ADHD that focuses on understanding how it affects each client’s daily life rather than trying to fit them into a specific mold. We explore challenges such as organization, motivation, time management, emotional regulation, and follow-through while developing practical strategies that work with the client’s strengths and individual needs. Progress can look like feeling less overwhelmed, improving routines and follow-through, understanding yourself with greater compassion, and finding strategies that make everyday life feel more manageable and sustainable.
Specialties · Stress
What's your approach to stress, and what does progress look like for clients?
I approach stress by helping clients understand what is contributing to their stress and how it is affecting their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and daily life. Together, we identify patterns, build healthier coping strategies, set boundaries, and find realistic ways to manage life’s demands without becoming overwhelmed. Progress isn’t about eliminating stress altogether—it’s about feeling more equipped to handle challenges, recognizing your limits, and responding to stress with greater balance, confidence, and self-compassion.
Specialties · Women's Issues
What's your approach to women's issues, and what does progress look like for clients?
I take a compassionate, person-centered approach to women’s issues, recognizing that each person’s experiences, relationships, responsibilities, and life circumstances are unique. Therapy can be a space to explore identity, self-esteem, relationships, boundaries, life transitions, and the pressures that can come with trying to meet everyone else’s expectations. Together, we work toward greater self-awareness, confidence, and clarity about what you want and need. Progress can look like feeling more comfortable taking up space, setting boundaries without guilt, trusting yourself, and making choices that feel more aligned with who you are.
