Welcome! I am an emo/punk and art loving therapist in Georgia offering person-centered, empowerment-based counseling for adults.

I became a therapist at 41 after teaching middle school for 11 years. Anxiety, depression, and stress during COVID led to complete burnout and led me to re-evaluate what I wanted my future to look like. I am a helper by nature and pivoting to mental health was a natural progression. COVID highlighted the absolute necessity of maintaining mental health wellness just like we would physical wellness. What motivates me to continue in mental health is my own journey to wellness and what that can look like for others who may not know where to start and just need someone to walk beside them on that journey.

In my practice, you are the expert on your own lived experiences, and I honor and validate your unique journey. My approach is tailored to meet your specific needs and goals, using a combination of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you build confidence, heal, and grow. Together, we’ll create a safe, supportive space where you can show up exactly as you are, free from judgment, as we work together to challenge, validate, and affirm your experiences, empowering you to move forward at your own pace.
