About Brooke

I have 15 years of experience working in mental healthcare, with a primary focus on addictions and eating disorders. I provide individual, family, and couples therapy for those seeking support with their own addiction or the addiction of a loved one, as well as eating disorders, trauma, and fertility issues. My approach incorporates both top-down and bottom-up methods, using Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I aim to support clients in understanding their experiences while developing practical tools for healing and meaningful change.

Approaches · Psychodynamic

How does psychodynamic therapy work, and what do sessions look like?

Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences, relationships, emotions, and patterns may influence the way you think, feel, and respond in the present. Sessions provide a supportive space to reflect on these patterns, build greater self-awareness, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships. Together, we may explore what is happening beneath the surface while connecting those insights to your current goals and challenges.
Specialties · Pregnancy, Prenatal, Postpartum

What's your approach to pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum challenges, and what does progress look like for clients?

I provide support for individuals navigating fertility concerns and the emotional challenges that can accompany pregnancy, the prenatal period, and postpartum experiences. My approach recognizes that these transitions can affect both emotional and physical well-being. Using a combination of top-down and bottom-up approaches, including Somatic Experiencing (SE) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we work toward greater awareness, emotional regulation, and practical coping skills. Progress may look different for each person, but can include feeling more grounded, understanding your emotions, developing healthier patterns, and feeling better equipped to navigate these life transitions.
