How does cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work and how can it help?
Cogitative behavior therapy works because the brain and the nervus system sometimes get sync up in a way that makes people feel bad about themselves and their environments. It is our ability to identify unhelp thoughts behavior and actions that our body automates due to our inability to deal with the complexity of modern life. The word auamatic thought was coined Arron Beck to remove the shame and guilt of countless people suffering from depression and anxiety.
How do you work with clients with anxiety?
Yes, in my opinion there is a healthily form of anxiety and an unhealthy form of anxiety. For instance, my anxiety sometimes anticipates where a conversation is going and it is mistaken, this is why we can surprise each other as human beings. I like to think that when accept the fact that someone is anxious it is an opportunity to help someone adjust their body’s system to find hope with another person.
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I enjoyed a philosophy class in graduate school and discovered I enjoyed helping people who were struggling with making important life decisions between classes. I am motivated to stay a therapist because life is often complicated and I enjoy helping other's gain insights into their character despite what they have been through and how they feel about themselves.
How do you work with clients with depression?
Yes, I enjoy working with people suffering from depression, Depressed people see the world the way it is while struggling to enjoy social support from others and society that make life feel worth living and causeing the brain to bring up unpleasant memories and the body to feel heavy.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I think that it is best to enter therapy with the idea that the person you are talking to isn't going to judge you. I honestly don't know how you could be a therapist and be judgmental.
How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
I help people suffering from ptsd by teaching people to recognize their reactions and practicing mindfulness to self sooth so they no longer have to worry about over or under reacting to people they care about.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I honestly think that healthily self-knowledge is worth pursuing even from imperfect criticism. For instance, one time a client pointed out that I blinked twice before making a moral judgment. I went to my friends and asked they knew that for years.
What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
I start off most sessions with what would you like to talk or reflect about. For me it is a simple acknowledgement to the fact that I can’t know what someone is feeling until they take the risk of telling me. If I have an agenda for the session, I add that I would like to talk about X. If you don’t feel like talking about what I want to talk about you have the right to table my agenda for the session. I might bring it up in the next session what you think might happen between us if you talked about my agenda if you avoid the topic.
How do you work with clients with addiction?
I work with people suffering from addiction but proveing a space to refelct on themselves and their behaviors. It can be hard to change depnding on the enviroment and their social suppurt network which I work with them to change for the better.
How do you work with clients with ADHD?
I help people with ADHD by helping them asses their strength and blind spots. What typically helps is keeping to a schudle and monitoring your feelings until you are more aware of them. Then I help by encouraging the use of external aids like a smart phone to keep moving throughout the day in a scheduled manner.
How do you work with clients with relationship issues?
I enjoy helping people with relationship dilemmas by helping them acknowledge frankly the internal the struggles that they having within themselves and with possible difficulties with other people in their environment .

How does family or marital therapy work and how can it help?
The ability to adjust our expectations for those closest to use helps us live a peaceful life. I am happy to help anyone struggling with family members or in a difficult relational situation.

How do you work with clients with stress?
Yes, stress gives birth the exspressions that indacte that the body keeps score of the truama of daily life. One of the most common one being I feel like I am carrying a weight on my shoulders. It is complciated by the fact that we have to realte to other people in the midst of acomplishing the daily tasks of life.
How does psychoanalytic therapy work and how can it help?
I enjoy psychanalytic therapy because it is detailed orientated it is by no means for everybody. It helps by paying attention to past attachments and showing a client how they maintain that current patterns in their relationship to themselves.
How does attachment-based therapy work and how can it help?
Attachment based therapy is helpful because it points out auamatic patterns that get activated when we are attracted to people based on significant attachments and exisperinces often starting in childhood but also has to do way in which our nervus system causes us discomfort when our expectations are not met in out day to day life in our close and significant relationships.
