I am a dual-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and certified nurse-midwife with a specialized focus on women’s mental health. My clinical background allows me to understand the connection between emotional wellbeing, physical health, hormonal changes, and the many life transitions that can affect mental health.
I work with adolescents and adults experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, mood changes, stress, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, and menopause-related mental health symptoms. With additional certificates in perinatal mental health and menopause mental health, I bring a thoughtful and informed approach to care during some of the most important and sensitive stages of life.
My experience as a nurse-midwife has shaped the way I support patients. I am especially attuned to the natural cycles, transitions, and changes that can impact how we feel emotionally and physically. I strive to create a supportive, respectful space where patients feel heard, validated, and empowered.
My goal is to work collaboratively with each patient to better understand what they are experiencing, identify the support they need, and help them move toward feeling more balanced, confident, and well.

How do you work with clients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)?
When working with clients with OCD, I begin by understanding how intrusive thoughts, fears, urges, or compulsive behaviors are affecting daily life. OCD can feel exhausting and isolating, so I approach treatment with compassion, education, and a clear plan for support.
I help clients identify their specific OCD patterns, understand the anxiety cycle, and build skills to respond to intrusive thoughts in a healthier way. When appropriate, medication management may also be part of care to reduce symptom intensity and improve functioning. I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel less controlled by obsessive thoughts and compulsions, while supporting greater confidence, calm, and daily stability.
How do you work with clients with bipolar disorder?
I work with clients with bipolar disorder by taking a thoughtful, whole-person approach to understanding mood patterns, triggers, sleep, hormones, life stressors, and overall wellbeing. Because bipolar disorder can affect energy, mood, relationships, focus, and daily functioning, I focus on creating a treatment plan that supports both stability and quality of life.
In our work together, I provide careful psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, and ongoing monitoring of symptoms over time. I also help clients better understand their mood cycles, recognize early warning signs, build routines that support emotional regulation, and develop strategies to manage stress and prevent relapse. My goal is to help clients feel more stable, supported, and empowered in managing their mental health.
