Cecilia Williams

Cecilia Williams is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate who has experience working with all ages across the lifespan from 3 months old up to 70+ years of age. Cecilia received her Masters in Counseling from the University of North Texas. Cecilia specializes in counseling individuals who struggle with chemical dependency and are beginning and/or in recovery from substance use. Cecilia considers her crisis intervention skills one of her strengths due to her extensive previous role as a group facilitator in a PHP/IOP crisis hospital setting. Cecilia values meeting clients where they are at in their mental health journey and works from a collaborative and CBT approach in session. Cecilia believes that her clients hold the “solution” or “answers” to their own questions. She believes in providing clinical guidance, empathy, and genuineness in order to help clients grow in their stage of change. Cecilia values direct, honest communication and emphasizes the importance of an individual strengthening their relationship with themselves. Cecilia’s favorite coping skill is practicing self-compassion.
