Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between your mind and body. Many experiences, especially stress and trauma, are stored in the body, even when we logically understand what happened.
In sessions we gently bring awareness to physical sensations, patterns of tension, and your nervous system responses. This might look like slowing down, noticing what you feel in your body, and learning how to regulate and release stored stress in a way that feels safe and manageable.
This approach can help with anxiety, chronic stress, emotional numbness, and feeling disconnected from yourself.
You won’t be asked to do anything that feels overwhelming. Everything is collaborative, paced, and centered on helping your body feel more regulated and supported.
