About Chidinma

I’m Linda Uzoukwu, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and founder of Healing Healthy Minds Nursing, Inc. I’m passionate about helping adults feel heard, understood, and supported as they navigate their mental health journey. I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, life transitions, mood concerns, and perinatal and postpartum mental health challenges. My clinical experience has allowed me to care for individuals with a wide range of mental health needs, providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, supportive therapy, and ongoing education. What makes my approach unique is my commitment to looking beyond symptoms. I take a holistic, collaborative, and personalized approach to care, considering each person’s emotional well-being, lifestyle, relationships, stressors, and individual goals when developing a treatment plan. I believe mental health care should be a partnership, and I encourage my patients to be active participants in decisions about their treatment. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself, asking questions, and discussing your concerns openly. Whether you are seeking support for a new challenge or have been navigating mental health concerns for years, I strive to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps you build greater stability, resilience, and overall well-being.

Approaches · Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

How does cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work, and what do sessions look like?

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, depression, or other concerns and work on practical strategies to create healthier patterns. Sessions are collaborative and supportive, with space to talk openly about what you are experiencing, reflect on challenges, and develop tools you can use in everyday life. My goal is to help you build greater awareness, confidence, and skills to manage challenges more effectively.
Specialties · ADHD

What's your approach to ADHD, and what does progress look like for clients?

My approach to ADHD is personalized and focused on understanding how symptoms affect your daily life, relationships, work, and overall well-being. I take time to understand your concerns, goals, and individual circumstances before developing a treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, education, and practical strategies. Progress can look different for everyone, but may include improved focus and organization, better management of responsibilities, reduced overwhelm, and greater confidence in navigating everyday life. My goal is to help you develop sustainable strategies that support your functioning and overall quality of life.
