Hello, I'm Chioma Momife, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 13 years of experience in mental health care. I specialize in diagnosing and treating children, adolescents, and adults, providing a range of services from medication management to holistic alternatives like lifestyle modification, nutrition, and stress management. I believe in a mind-body connection and use this approach to create personalized treatment plans for my patients. I stay current with evidence-based practices and aim to create a trusting, supportive environment where patients feel empowered in their mental health journey. When I'm not practicing, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and keeping up-to-date with the latest mental health advancements.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I believe in the mind-body connection and wanted to help others find balance in their mental health. What keeps me going is the ability to positively impact my clients' lives, empowering them to overcome challenges and achieve overall well-being.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy is a safe space where you can feel heard and understood. It’s okay to be unsure at first, but starting therapy can help you develop the tools to manage your mental health. My approach is compassionate and tailored to meet you where you are in your journey, so you can begin healing at your own pace.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I take a holistic approach to mental health, addressing both the mind and body. My treatment plans are personalized, combining evidence-based practices with lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and stress management. I value creating a trusting and supportive relationship with each client.
How can you provide care remotely?
I offer remote care through virtual sessions, allowing clients from Texas, New York, and Arizona to receive personalized mental health treatment in a comfortable, safe environment. I use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure privacy and confidentiality.
