Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I am passionate about helping individuals unlock their potential and lead fulfilling lives. What motivates me to continue is witnessing the growth, resilience, and positive changes in my clients as they work toward their goals. Each session reminds me of the power of empathy, understanding, and genuine human connection.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I wish I could tell them that therapy is a journey toward becoming the best version of yourself. It’s a safe, judgment-free space to explore your thoughts and feelings, develop coping strategies, and discover your inner strengths. Taking the first step can be intimidating, but the process can bring positivity and resilience to your life. Everyone deserves to feel heard and supported.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
People considering working with me should know that I value empathy, understanding, and a genuine caring spirit in every interaction. I am dedicated to creating a space where clients feel supported and encouraged to focus on their strengths. My approach is open-minded and culturally sensitive, and I aim to foster personal growth by helping clients identify and build on their positive qualities.
How can you provide care remotely?
I provide care remotely by creating a trusting, inclusive, and open environment for clients through virtual sessions. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness-based techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and emotionally focused strategies to address both mental health and physical health concerns. Remote care allows for flexible, accessible support tailored to each client’s unique needs.
