Are you or a loved one feeling stuck – uncertain about navigating changes in your life, how you see yourself, or how to reconnect with those close to you? When we feel stuck, taking steps forward can feel like a monumental task. We can work together to break down your thoughts and uncertainties, determine the best way forward, and put practical strategies into action, to empower you to create the life you want for yourself. In me, you’ll have a collaborator who will follow your lead and ensure you feel you heard but will be willing to challenge you and continue to motivate you towards achieving your goals.
Therapy with me involves weaving together practical skill-building and evidence-based strategies to help you achieve your individualized goals. I work with individuals experiencing difficult life transitions at work, at home, or at school. Through individual, parent, or family sessions, we will untangle your thoughts, improve your self-esteem, and take tangible steps towards sustainable change. Neurodiversity (Autism & ADHD) affirming and LGBTQ+ friendly, I always take a person-centric approach.
When you have a better understanding of who you are and what you want, your goals will feel attainable. Everyone has the ability to move past the struggles they’re experiencing, and together we can create solutions and develop skills to build long-term happiness. If you’re ready to learn how we can work together, email or call me for a 15-minute consultation.

What's your experience with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy focuses on helping you work through the negative spirals your brain goes through. In my research, training, and practice, I have learned ways to adapt this technique to work with numerous different mental health issues. My goal will be to help you learn the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and actions and then make changes to address the problems you present with.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who specializes in working with individuals on life transitions (at home, work, or school), emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships, including those who are neurodiverse (including Autism & ADHD). I also work with clients on sexual identity and with the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to my private practice, I work as a therapist at a non-profit and believe that quality mental health care should be accessible to all.
What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
I always use our first meeting to hear your individual story, ensure I have a grasp on the problems, and focus on understanding your goals for therapy. During sessions, I strive to provide a safe and connected space for my clients to resolve the issues they are currently facing, and I always treat individuals with a person-centric approach. My goal is to work with you to create evidence-based, timely, collaborative, and affordable solutions to you or your loved one's problems.
What's your experience with solution focused brief therapy (SFBT)?
Not all therapy needs to last years, and through Solution Focused Brief Therapy, we can find solutions to your problems by building on what has worked in the past. Through my work and training with the Center for Systemic Action, I have learned how to adapt this technique to work with numerous different mental health issues. My goal will be to help you determine what changed, why your current coping strategies are not working, and how to get you back to baseline in a timely manner.
What is your experience with clients on the autism spectrum?
I have over six years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism and other neurodiversities and have always viewed this as just a piece of who you are. I like to get to know you as an individual and understand the unique problems you present with. Instead of seeking to make you "fit in", my goal would be finding ways to help you navigate, advocate, and self-reflect, while acknowledging the unique challenges neurodiversity brings.
What's your experience working with issues in sex and sexuality?
Understanding your sexual identity can be a difficult journey. Sexuality and gender are fluid, and finding yourself in the many labels and identities can be overwhelming. In session, I strive to create a safe, open-minded and understanding space for you to figure out what feels right for you. My goal will be to help you embrace and understand who you truly are.
