Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because through personal experiences I have a cultivated a deep empathy and passion for helping others achieve optimal mental wellness. Seeing the progress and accomplishments of my clients keeps me motivated to continue this journey.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Making yourself vulnerable by sharing about your thoughts and feelings with a stranger can be intimidating. However, having the perspective of a therapist can truly help rewire unhelpful thinking, behaviors and coping skills that may be holding you back from experiencing life to its fullest.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I offer a safe and judgement free space to help you process life’s challenges. I believe in helping my clients feel heard, respected, understood and supported. You do not have to tackle life’s difficulties alone. I practice with empathy, warmth and solution focused feedback.
