About Daeton

I am a Licensed Profession Counselor with 10 years of experience. I graduated in 2013 from Lindenwood University with an MA in Professional Counseling. In 2018, I graduated from Maryland Global Campus with an MS in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations. My therapeutic orientation is a person-centered CBT approach. I approach therapy by focusing on the client’s strengths and assisting them in learning skills involving thoughts and behaviors that can be used to manage chronic and everyday concerns, even after they have completed therapy. I also have specialized training in Mindfulness and use this skill set with many of my clients. I have experience working with couples, families, children, stress-related concerns, anxiety, anger, and Autism Spectrum related issues. In addition, I have experience with survivors of trauma and abuse. I have experience working with patients with online compulsive behaviors related to pornography, gaming, and social media.
