About David

Hello and welcome! I’m David Boyajian, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with a passion for helping people heal on a mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual level. I treat most mental health concerns, but I have special expertise in treating addiction to compulsive sexual behaviors, including porn addiction, and the betrayal trauma that occurs when one discovers their partner's addiction. I work with individuals and couples, and my background includes providing drug addiction counseling, sex and porn addiction counseling, and working with children and families. I've been seeing clients since 2018. I aim to provide a welcoming and nonjudgemental therapeutic environment that inspires, motivates, and encourages my clients to find wholeness and healing. I take a multidisciplinary approach to treatment but I'm mainly informed by a psychodynamic and attachment theory perspective. I also tend to utilize Motivational Interviewing, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and CBT, and I am basic trained in EMDR as well.
