Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I want to help others feel better; I believe you will find that I am an effective, and compassionate, therapist.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
If you're thinking about starting therapy but are hesitant, know that if you try it and feel it's not for you, you simply stop - there isn't a commitment to continue. If you feel you don't have time for therapy, therapy can save time by helping you to feel more energy and to be more efficient in daily tasks. :^)
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
Have you ever felt you aren't/weren't really heard? Perhaps a spouse or boss or parent doesn't hear what you're really saying, or just outright dismisses your words and feelings? In our sessions you will be heard. And I will keep my ears and eyes open, and my senses ready for indications of things you may have turned a blind eye to, and together we will explore these things. We will also discover behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes that cause difficulties in your life, and we’ll collaborate to replace them with behaviors, thoughts, and attitudes that that bring about and maintain happiness.
How can you provide care remotely?
I have been providing care remotely since the start of the pandemic, it is done effectively by phone or video.
