I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) in Florida with over 10 years of experience working as a psychotherapist and qualified mental health professional. I have worked with clients with a wide range of presenting problems and concerns including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety, family conflicts/dynamics, parenting-related issues, self-esteem, trauma-related symptoms, OCD, DMDD, ODD, ADHD and tics (vocal/motor). My counseling style is attentive, empathetic, and person-centered. I believe supportive psychotherapy in conjunction with psycho-education is life-changing and can be life-saving. My clinical approach is integrative eclectic therapy, which combines a variety of modalities and techniques (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, CBIT, etc.) to best fit your needs. Grounded in dialogue, I will make it a priority to ensure a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment that allows you to talk openly. As we build rapport and a therapeutic relationship, I will display unconditional positive regard in an objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental manner. We demonstrate resilience when we expand our understanding and challenge our irrational thoughts that influence our emotions.
