Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!
I am a Licensed Associate Counselor with a physical disability in New Jersey. Incorporating tools like CBT, IFS and mindfulness, I help clients with trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and more. I strive to provide a welcoming, affirming space for clients of all identities and experiences including LGBTQIA+, neurodivergence (ADHD, Autism), Disability and Chronic Illness.
I see healing as a fluid dance between the past, present and future. I'd love to be your dance partner in whatever season of life you're in. Let’s see if we’re a fit!

What inspired you to become a therapist, and what keeps you motivated?
Living with Cerebral Palsy has given me the passion to help others who are struggling because I’ve been there.
To me, nothing is more motivating than witnessing just how resilient people are and seeing the sparkle in their eyes come back. That is, by far, the greatest privilege.
For people hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them, and what advice would you give?
You wouldn’t think twice about going to the doctor if you needed to take care of your physical health, so why shame yourself for taking care of your mental health? The brain is an organ just like any other and all organs need a little TLC from time to time.
If you’re on the fence about therapy, that’s normal. You’re telling a complete stranger your deepest, darkest secrets. That can be downright terrifying. However, we heal through connection, not isolation. Give yourself the chance to finally be seen. It’s ok if it takes time to open up. There’s zero rush. Baby steps are welcome.
What should someone thinking about working with you know about you?
I value humanness more than any stuffy modality you might find in a psychology textbook. I use humor liberally and I show up fully as my authentic self just as I hope my clients feel safe enough to show up as their authentic selves.
How does somatic therapy work, and what do sessions look like?
Somatic work is all about getting in touch with our bodies. Living in such a fast-paced world, most of us have never learned how to make the connection between our emotions and our bodies. Or if we have experienced trauma, we learn that it is unsafe. Through our work together, you’ll learn how to deeply feel your emotions and listen to what they’re trying to tell you.
What's your approach to working with transgender individuals, and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to working with the LGBTQ+ community looks like deeply honoring their unique experiences and recognizing the trauma and internalized shame that sometimes comes from living in a heteronormative society.
