About Erin
I specialize in addressing patterns of anxiety, self-criticism, and relational difficulties, and have a special place in my heart for working with highly sensitive individuals and others in helping roles. My approach is rooted in respect for emotion, nervous system understanding, and belief in the wisdom behind symptoms; I see it as my role to help you feel supported and safe enough to uncover that wisdom, and to offer gentle, skillful guidance when you feel stuck. I'm specially trained in Somatic Attachment Therapy to support inter- and intra-personal secureness. Additionally, I draw on my own mindfulness practice of the last 15 years, in addition to training in Mindfulness-based Self Compassion, to help clients improve their relationship with their Self and reduce longstanding suffering. I work from a highly trauma-informed stance and am experienced supporting individuals with chronic Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety, depression, or those who are struggling with grief or relationship issues. I see it as an honor to participate in the healing process with my clients, and look forward to collaborating with you.

Specialties · Women's Issues
What's your approach to women's issues, and what does progress look like for clients?
My approach to women’s issues is compassionate, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique experiences. I recognize that anxiety, self-criticism, relationship difficulties, grief, and other struggles can be shaped by past experiences, attachment patterns, emotional needs, and the ways we have learned to relate to ourselves and others. I provide a supportive space where women can slow down, feel safe enough to explore what is beneath their symptoms, and reconnect with their own needs, values, and inner wisdom.
Progress is not about becoming a different person or eliminating every difficult emotion. It may look like developing greater self-compassion, feeling more secure in relationships, understanding and responding to your nervous system, setting healthier boundaries, and becoming less controlled by self-critical thoughts or longstanding patterns. Together, we work toward greater emotional safety, self-trust, and a stronger sense of connection with yourself and others.
Approaches · Narrative
How does narrative therapy work, and what do sessions look like?
Narrative Therapy explores the stories we carry about ourselves and how those stories can shape the way we understand our experiences, relationships, and possibilities. Rather than viewing you as the problem, we look at the problem as something separate from who you are. This creates space to examine beliefs and patterns that may have developed through difficult experiences while also identifying the strengths, values, and moments of resilience that may have been overlooked.
In sessions, we may explore the stories that have influenced how you see yourself and consider alternative perspectives that feel more authentic and empowering. The process is collaborative and guided by your experiences, values, and goals. My role is to listen with curiosity, help you uncover meaning and wisdom within your experiences, and support you in developing a relationship with yourself that is more compassionate, secure, and aligned with the life you want to create.
