Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I've always been a helper in the community and always knew I wanted to continue to help, but taking psychology in school opened a door of curiosity about how we process life events and how those events impact our lives and mental health. My motivation to continue as a therapist comes from seeing progress for my clients which looks like a decrease in symptoms, reaching treatment goals and even an increase in confidence.
