How do you work with clients with anxiety?

The more clients I work with and the more people I meet in my life, I am realizing that everyone experiences some sort of anxiety independent to socio economic background, race, gender, nationality etc etc. I help clients understand the source of their anxiety, explore the narratives they have created and how to reframe them in order to manage their anxiety more effectively and use it as a motivator to grow.

About Me
Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?

My path to becoming a therapist started with a love of psychology and an eagerness to learn more about the human mind and behavior. I am fascinated by the ways in which people think, feel, and behave, and I wanted to use this knowledge to help others. From a young age, I found myself having the natural inclination to listen to and support others and wanted to use those skills to make a difference in people's lives. Becoming a therapist has been an incredibly rewarding career path, as it has allowed me to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

About Me
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?

I gather history, ask you to develop goals for therapy and in ongoing session we start to build a rapport, get comfortable with each other and get deeper into a dialogue about your thoughts and feelings

About Me
What does a typical session with you tend to look like?

You might not be able to articulate it or externalize but somehow a part of yourself is telling you that you could benefit from talking to someone.
