About Heather

As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care with a specialized focus on ADHD evaluation and treatment and women's mental health, including perinatal psychiatry. My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where every patient feels heard, understood, and empowered throughout their mental health journey. I believe the best psychiatric care begins with genuine connection. I take time to understand each person's unique experiences, concerns, and goals, then develop personalized treatment plans that combine thoughtful medication management, education, and collaborative decision-making. Whether you're seeking answers about ADHD, navigating pregnancy or postpartum emotional changes, or managing anxiety, depression, or life transitions, I strive to make care approachable, accessible, and tailored to your needs. I am passionate about building long-term relationships with my patients and providing expert, compassionate care that helps them thrive in every stage of life.

Specialties · Depression

What's your approach to depression, and what does progress look like for clients?

Depression affects everyone differently, so my approach begins with understanding how it's impacting your daily life, relationships, physical health, and overall sense of well-being. I take time to listen to your experiences and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle strategies, and coordination with therapy when appropriate. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while ensuring you feel informed, supported, and actively involved in every treatment decision. Progress looks different for each person, but it often starts with small, meaningful changes—having more energy, finding enjoyment in activities again, sleeping better, feeling more hopeful, or being able to manage daily responsibilities with greater ease. Over time, many clients develop greater confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges, experience more emotional stability, and feel empowered to live a fuller, more connected life. Throughout the process, we'll regularly review your progress together and adjust your treatment plan to best support your goals.
