Medication Management
How does medication management work, and what does the process look like?

Medication management is a collaborative process designed to ensure that treatment is safe, effective, and tailored to each patient's unique needs. During the initial evaluation, I take time to understand your symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle, and treatment goals before discussing whether medication may be beneficial. If medication is recommended, we'll review your options, expected benefits, possible side effects, and answer any questions you may have so you can make informed decisions about your care. Follow-up appointments allow us to monitor your progress, assess how you're responding to treatment, make adjustments if needed, and ensure you're getting the greatest benefit with the fewest side effects. My goal is to provide ongoing support while combining medication management with education, healthy coping strategies, and other evidence-based treatments to promote long-term mental wellness.

Specialties · Anger Management
What's your approach to anger management, and what does progress look like for clients?

I view anger as a signal that something deeper needs attention rather than something to simply eliminate. My approach begins with understanding the underlying factors contributing to anger, whether they stem from stress, anxiety, trauma, ADHD, mood disorders, or life challenges. Together, we identify triggers, recognize patterns, and develop practical coping strategies that help patients respond thoughtfully instead of reacting impulsively. Using evidence-based techniques, psychoeducation, and, when appropriate, medication as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, I help patients build emotional regulation, communication skills, and healthy ways to manage difficult emotions. Progress looks different for everyone, but often includes fewer emotional outbursts, improved relationships, increased self-awareness, greater confidence in handling stressful situations, and the ability to respond to challenges with greater calm and control.
