You’re anxious and frustrated. Maybe lost, confused—even overwhelmed. My hope as your therapist is that you see hope in just visiting this page. You're done hiding, avoiding, and repressing what you really feel. This is step #1 toward healing. I invite you to take a step further. Together, we will bring clarity to your situation, process unresolved emotions, and develop coping skills for enduring positive change.
When you are sitting across from me, my goal is for you to feel safe, understood, and encouraged. I am honest in what I see, and part of my role is to point out what may be outside your awareness. When I work with you, I will ask you how you deal with negative emotions. I want to know about your relationships and their effect on you. I will take into account your culture and community.
I have worked in residential treatment and outpatient care. I received my Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, where I studied Clinical Mental Health with specialization in Marriage, Couples, and Family. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Harvard College.
