For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Life is never "one size fits all" and neither is counseling. I work from the theory of emotionally focused therapy with families and couples. Individually, using cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive processing theory.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
Ready for change? Tired of being stuck in the same cycle with your children or spouse? I have a diverse background working with children and families affected by divorce and also the foster care system. This includes trauma focused care with teens and adults. Working with families that have non-straight loved ones has given me the opportunity to see relationship restoration. I offer a career full of experience working with individuals, couples and families to adjust to life transitions.
