How do you work with clients with anxiety?
When working with clients experiencing anxiety, I focus on understanding the specific triggers, patterns, and ways anxiety affects their daily life. I take a collaborative approach, helping clients develop practical strategies to manage symptoms while exploring treatment options that best fit their needs. This may include education about anxiety, lifestyle and coping strategies, and when appropriate, medication management. My goal is to help clients feel more in control, reduce distress, and improve overall functioning.
How do you work with clients with depression?
When working with clients experiencing depression, I focus on understanding how symptoms are impacting their daily life, motivation, and overall well-being. I take a collaborative approach to treatment, helping clients identify contributing factors and develop practical strategies for improvement. Care may include education about depression, supportive guidance, lifestyle considerations, and when appropriate, medication management. My goal is to help clients regain energy, restore hope, and improve their quality of life.
How do you work with clients with trauma and PTSD?
When working with clients who have experienced trauma or PTSD, I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I take time to understand each person’s experiences and how trauma may be affecting their thoughts, emotions, and daily functioning. Treatment is collaborative and may include education about trauma responses, coping and grounding strategies, and when appropriate, medication management. My goal is to help clients feel more stable, regain a sense of control, and move toward healing at a pace that feels comfortable for them.
