I am Joseph Mwangi, MSN, PMHNP-BC, a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of experience in healthcare. Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, I have treated a wide range of mental health disorders in various settings, including inpatient care, outpatient clinics, and community home visits. With a Master's degree from Walden University, I believe in a holistic approach to mental health. I combine medication management with therapeutic techniques to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient. My goal is to foster self-discovery and personal growth through compassionate, patient-centered care. I am licensed to practice in both Arizona and California, providing services through places like Mercy Mental Health & Services and Samar HealthCare. I am also a member of several professional organizations, including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing.
