I am a Family Nurse Practitioner practicing in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 and my master's in nursing science in 2021 both from the University of Texas at Arlington. Altogether, I have 20 years of nursing experience and am familiar with various disease conditions including ADHD and other mental illnesses. What do therapy sessions with you look like?
Free Consultation (Telehealth) - 10 minutes
An opportunity for patients to discuss their concerns or needs to determine if services are a good fit and to receive initial advice or guidance.
Initial Visit (Telehealth) - 30 minutes
An initial visit involves a medical history review, physical examination, and possibly diagnostic tests to evaluate a patient's health, identify issues, and develop a treatment plan.
Follow-up Visit (Telehealth) - 15 minutes
A follow-up visit involves checking the progress of the patient's treatment plan, assessing any new symptoms or concerns, and adjusting the treatment plan as needed to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Medication Refill (Telehealth)
A medication refill appointment typically involves a brief review of his/her existing patient's medical history, confirming the need for the medication refill, and issuing a new prescription. It may also involve evaluating any side effects or concerns related to the medication and ensuring that the treatment plan is still appropriate for the patient's needs.
How do you work with clients with addiction?
Addressing addiction involves a collaborative and supportive approach. While I don't provide therapy or counseling, I work with clients to create individualized plans, which may include medication-assisted treatment, referrals to addiction specialists, and ongoing monitoring to support recovery.
