How do you work with clients with anxiety?
I provide a safe and non judgmental environment. Most people say that I make them feel comfortable pretty quickly. I help each person to be curious and explore the root cause(s) and then discuss ways to decrease the anxiety. I also will also discuss and suggest, from the start, tools for you to try.

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I have always been curious about people and I have, since a young age, loved helping people.

For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy can be uncomfortable and it can be hard work, but, just like a good work out, it is so worth it.
About MeWhat should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I provide what might be called depth therapy, interpersonal and/or insight oriented therapy. I am engaged in the session and ask many questions but I also quietly listen to what is important to you. We will learn, together, to be curious about you -who you are and what is important to you- and patterns of behavior that are no longer serving you. Then, with that understanding, I will support you as you make changes.

How can you provide care remotely?
I use zoom and have found it to be a great way to attend therapy. My clients do not feel like they are missing anything. In fact they find it easier to get to the session and to be engaged in the session.

As I get to you know, we will learn about your attachment style and we will explore how that is showing up in current relationships. As we understand your attachment style we can then learn how what you might want to change.
