I have always been a listener and value the importance of someone's story. I work with teenagers and women who have been through traumatic experiences, who have a story to tell. My desire is that my clients have a safe, warm place where they feel comfortable opening up. I aim to make sure that every client feels seen, heard, and valued as they navigate through their trauma, anxiety, depression, and daily life struggles.

I truly have a heart for people who have been through trauma. Walking along side clients as they work towards being able to gain hope, a greater self-esteem, and take steps towards a life they want to live is so powerful. You have a story to tell, a voice that deserves to be heard. As long as there is even one person that needs to be heard, I want to continue to be a therapist that listens well.

Starting counseling can be scary and it does not look the same for every person. I believe that the therapy room should be a safe environment in which a person is free to be open up and explore your experiences without judgment. I would be honored to walk along side you as you begin your healing journey. 

The first session will be mostly getting to know one another and allowing for you to become more comfortable in the space. There are no expectations of how it will go and the focus will be purely on you feeling comfortable and safe. We will come up with goals together and talk about what counseling could look like moving forward. If it turns out you do not feel like it is not a good fit for us to work together at any point, that is totally okay! The most important thing that you have a space where you feel comfortable to heal.
