I provide expert psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychosocial counseling for children, adults, and their families. I am deeply committed to helping individuals with mental illness and their families reach their full potential in the most peaceful, low-stress manner possible. As the mother of an adult who has struggled with mental illness since childhood, I understand firsthand the challenges that come with managing these conditions.
My experience includes providing psychiatric care in Level 1 Trauma emergency settings, community mental health clinics, and private practice. This background allows me to deliver high-quality, compassionate, and affordable care. Most appointments can be scheduled within a week of reaching out, and, given current concerns related to COVID-19, I also offer telepsychiatry visits.
I work with children and adolescents to address behavioral and emotional issues that impact family life and school performance. For adults, I assist with mood disorders, thought disorders, and cognitive impairments. Medication management is a key part of the treatment process, alongside effective therapy and reducing environmental stressors.
I understand the stress and anxiety that come with finding and accessing high-quality psychiatric care. That’s why I prioritize timely appointments, usually within a week of contact, to ensure you or your loved ones receive the support you need as quickly as possible.

How does cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work and how can it help?
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps individuals identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. By challenging unhelpful beliefs and developing healthier coping strategies, CBT can effectively reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions. It is goal-oriented, practical, and focused on promoting positive thinking and behaviors.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
People considering working with me should know that I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care, shaped by both my professional experience and personal understanding as a mother of an adult with mental illness. I prioritize timely appointments, usually within a week of contact, and work collaboratively with clients and their families to choose the most effective and acceptable treatment options. My treatment approach is client-centered, respectful of their autonomy, and tailored to each individual’s needs using evidence-based practices. Additionally, I strive to prevent hospitalizations whenever possible and focus on offering cost-effective care.
How do you work with clients with bipolar disorder?
I work with clients with bipolar disorder by combining medication management with therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). My approach focuses on stabilizing mood, developing coping strategies, and preventing hospitalizations. I collaborate with clients and their families to create personalized treatment plans that promote stability and well-being.
How do you work with clients with depression?
I work with clients with depression by providing a personalized approach that combines medication management and evidence-based therapies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). I focus on understanding the root causes of depression and work collaboratively with clients to develop effective coping strategies. My goal is to offer compassionate, low-stress care that promotes healing and well-being.
How can you provide care remotely?
I provide care remotely through telepsychiatry services, which allows for virtual appointments with children and adults. This approach ensures that individuals can receive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and psychosocial counseling from the comfort of their homes, making it convenient and accessible, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.
How does eclectic therapy work and how can it help?
Eclectic therapy combines techniques from various therapeutic modalities to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to the client's unique needs. By adapting to individual circumstances and preferences, it allows for a flexible approach that can address a wide range of issues. This method fosters a collaborative relationship between the therapist and client, enhancing engagement and effectiveness, and ultimately promoting improved emotional well-being and personal growth.
