I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-R), a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT-500), a Level 2 Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and a somatic therapist dedicated to helping individuals of all ages heal and thrive. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults, offering an integrative approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and emotions.
My practice is grounded in the belief that emotional well-being is deeply interconnected with physical and mental health. I combine evidence-based psychotherapy with body-centered and experiential approaches, including Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, yoga, mindfulness, and play therapy for children. This holistic framework helps clients build self-awareness, process difficult experiences, and develop lasting tools for resilience and growth.

How does play therapy work and how can it help?
Play therapy provides children with a developmentally appropriate way to express thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be difficult to communicate through words alone. Through play, creative activities, and therapeutic interactions, children can process challenging emotions, build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen self-confidence. I use play therapy to help children navigate anxiety, trauma, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and social or emotional challenges while creating a safe and engaging environment where healing and growth can occur naturally.
How do you work with clients with self harming issues?
When working with clients who engage in self-harming behaviors, I focus on creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where they can openly discuss their experiences. Together, we explore the emotions, stressors, and unmet needs that may be contributing to self-harm while developing healthier coping strategies for managing distress. Using a combination of psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, mindfulness, and body-based interventions, I help clients build emotional awareness, strengthen self-compassion, improve emotional regulation, and develop tools to navigate difficult feelings safely and effectively.
