About Kimberly
My name is Kimberly and I have experience working with couples in distress due to communication issues, conflict resolution, trust, trauma and infidelity. I also work with individuals who struggle with childhood trauma, relational issues, self esteem, shame, anxiety and/or depression. These are a few issues I have been working with couples and individuals to process and move towards a positive treatment outcome.
I understand how difficult and intimidating it may be to seek counseling. I have been where you are and I empathize with the struggle. It takes courage to ask for help, and most of us have vulnerability wounds. I hope you reach out, and if you do, I will be there to help you through this journey called life!

Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I have my own experience with unprocessed trauma and wounds. I can empathize with just existing, and not living, because I had not dealt with my past trauma and wounds. With the help of a therapist, I was able to process my trauma and start the life I have wanted to live. I would like the opportunity to help you do the same with your life. The decision to seek therapy is an important one and you are your most important investment!
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
I can empathize with the hesitation to seek counseling. I know it takes a lot of courage to open yourself up to a complete stranger. Most of us have vulnerability wounds making it hard to trust people. I want you to know, when you find the courage to seek therapy, I will do what I can to help you process current or past traumas so you can experience the life you were meant to live!
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I want you to know that I love my job! I went back to school later in life to become a counselor, and it was the one of the best decisions I ever made to date. I am a direct counselor, who will help you learn new coping skills, make and apply healthy boundaries, safely process any trauma and/or wounds, and help you have successful, healthy relationships. I believe everyone should have a a safe place to express themselves in order to reach their goals in life and in relationships.
