I became a therapist because I see the hurt and trauma that people are faced with daily. I want to bring hope and healing to those who desperately need their voice heard. I am motivated when I see clients make progress, either big or small changes because then I know the work I do is meaningful. 

If you are hesitant to start therapy, I want you to know that my space is a calm, safe, and nonjudgmental zone. I strive to work with clients to help them make progress in decreasing mental health symptoms. 

Our first session, and maybe two, looks like me getting to know you and understanding your symptoms/difficulties through a diagnostic assessment. It is a lot of answering questions so I can have a great understanding of how to best help you. After the intake session, I welcome clients to do a check in with me. What has been going well this past week, and what difficulties are you still having? Then we spend time processing current and past life events that are negatively impacting clients' mental health. I then help you develop goals to work towards over the next week.
