Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I am called to do the work of a therapist. This is who I am.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Mental health is just as important as physical health. The two are congruent. Whatever affects the body, affect the mind, and vice versa. Sometimes, having someone actively listening is all one needs to get through a crisis.
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I am on passionate about what I do. So, if you’re not willing to do your work, don’t waste your time or mine.
What does a typical session with you tend to look like?
A typical session with me consists of a time to reflect on the week, identify areas of crisis, look at options, review, and homework.
