About Lindsey

Lindsey is a licensed social worker who has experience with various populations and challenges. She specializes in relationship building in regards to family, couple/martial, and sibling bonds. Lindsey utilizes individual and group training interventions in order for families to implement positive behavioral techniques for challenging behaviors and obtain psycho-education of various diagnoses and interventions. She is trained in evidence-based treatments including CBT, DBT, Positive Family Interventions, Zones of Regulation, Motivational Interviewing, TF-CBT, Empowerment Theory, along with Licensure Supervision. She focuses on an individualized family approach to assist with issues related to mental health, trauma, challenging behaviors, academic/legal involvement, substance abuse, divorce and blended families.She has experience with supporting individuals with intellectual-developmental disabilities, ASD and/or dual diagnoses. In addition to assisting MSW Students. Lindsey currently resides on the East Side of Michigan with her family. She graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology at Central Michigan University and a Masters in Social Work at Michigan State University.
