Why did you become a therapist, and what motivates you to continue?
I became a therapist because I believe helping people is my purpose in this life. What motivates me to continue doing this work is to see the tangible change my clients make daily. The immense obstacles they’re able to overcome inspires me.
For people that are hesitant to try therapy, what do you wish you could tell them?
Therapy is definitely a daunting idea. Will I be judged? Will I be open? Will this work? All I can say is, keep trying until you find the right fit for you because when you do, that’s when the magic happens!
What should people thinking about working with you, know about you?
I pride myself on building and maintaining great rapport with my clients. With rapport and trust comes the gift of being able to gently challenge my clients to step out of their comfort zones for optimal growth and clarity.
