About Loren

Hi! I'm Loren Moore, MS, A LPC-MHSP. I believe counseling should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. My goal is to meet each client where they are and create a therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and life transitions. I recognize that everyone's experiences are different, so I strive to tailor counseling to each person's individual needs, strengths, and goals. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I incorporate practical, evidence-based strategies, including cognitive behavioral techniques, to help clients better understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and build confidence in navigating life's challenges. I believe growth doesn't have to happen all at once. Sometimes it starts with having someone who listens, helps you make sense of what you're experiencing, and encourages you to take small steps forward. I'm grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they work toward greater self-understanding, confidence, and emotional well-being.

What's your approach to anxiety, and what does progress look like for clients?

My approach to anxiety is compassionate, supportive, and focused on helping clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and triggers. I use practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients manage stress, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and develop healthy coping skills. Progress may look like feeling more confident, improving emotional regulation, managing anxious thoughts, and navigating everyday situations with greater ease and self-assurance.
Approaches · Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

How does cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) work, and what do sessions look like?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps clients understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. During sessions, we work together to identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore emotional responses, and practice healthier ways of thinking and responding to challenges. I incorporate practical techniques tailored to each client's needs, helping them build coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, improve emotional regulation, and make meaningful progress at their own pace.
